Babies in da house

Recently determined Wyatt was not the only tyke in the house. We've seen a raccoon scaling down the house, but never with two other bandits tugging behind her. Unfortunately for all of us, I was up in the early morning worrying about our sick little guy when I heard her commotion outside the office window. I'd guess by the looks of it she was surprised to see me too.

Here are a couple of shots of my 2nd Mother's day ever. Wyatt is growing, walking, saying lots of "uh-ohs" and smiling most anytime he can. The past few weeks he has been a bit under the weather, but this last week has been especially hard. He feels so bad that he has given up sucking his thumb, and if we get close to 6 hours without Motrin...we all know about it. He has a virus that was initially diagnosed as mono when we took him to the ER last weekend. Hurts our heart's something fierce to see him so uncomfortable. Maybe the long weekend will give us time to recuperate. I am hoping he mends up soon so he can go meet his new 2nd cousin, Callie Marie. She came to Texas April 21st, and we are so delighted to have her here. I will post photos as soon as I can get myself reorganized. The last few months....ugh. Spring semester is always the busiest at work, and we've had more than a few concerns with great grand-mema and pops. Both have been in and out of the hospital...and finally both shaking off a tough row.

Must get some sleep! I will make a dedicated effort to catch up to my writings and photos. So many things happening so fast...can't believe it, him, anything!
Couldn't be more delighted.

I love that first photo. Rarely, when its very cold, Colin will still sleep like that.

I am so sorry to hear about all the sickness! Hopefully Wyatt will have a super strong immune system by the time he gets to kindergarten. We really hope we can all get together this summer.
